EscoLab opens the doors of Catalonia’s state-of-the-art laboratories and research centres and offers an opportunity to converse with investigators working on the advancement of society.
More than 10.000 places to carry out scientific activity free of charge for students of secondary school (ESO), Spanish baccalaureate and vocational training. Proposals that include not only the experimental sciences and technology, but also the social sciences and humanities, architecture, business innovation, journalism, early childhood education and sports sciences, among others.
From October to May EscoLab is offering more than 200 different proposals involving investigators of research groups belonging to universities, science parks, hospitals and companies, all of them ready to satisfy students’ curiosity.
The activities consist in workshops and tours that reveal the immense diversity of laboratories operating today and that offer the chance of direct contact with their multidisciplinary teams and lines of research. You will gain first-hand experience of their new discoveries and enrich the contents of your classroom studies by linking curriculum and the latest scientific developments.
Additionally, some activities may also be offered in virtual format in case it is not possible to conduct them in person due to pandemic restrictions. This way, knowledge can be brought closer to students in the face of current restrictions.
Prior registration is essential and can be submitted as from September. To book your place, you must be a registered user.
All activities are free, and places are limited.

Benvolguda nuria.rubio@, tal i com s'indica en la darrera frase del mail d'avís d'alliberament de places: "Si tardeu en sol·licitar la reserva, és possible que un altre usuari ho faci abans que vosaltres". Si l'activitat surt amb el signe + en vermell, és que ja ha estat reservada per una altra escola abans. A nosaltres també ens ha passat que hem rebut la informació de la inscripció quan la majoria de xerrades ja estaven exhaurides. Fa uns mesos ens vam posar en contacte i ens van assegurar que rebriem la informació així que la tinguessin. Sap greu.+ More comments
